This lovely outfit is my definition of beauty on a budget. As much as I love shopping, I truly enjoy taking something old and creating something new. Taken straight out of the back of my closet, I decided to wear a simple black body suit and paired it with a spandex skirt that you've seen me wear several times throughout my blog. I topped it off with a suede jacket, which I got for next to nothing, on my last trip to the thrift shop. For shoes, I'm wearing a pair of stilettos that I'm sure a lot of people have become familiar with too. For jewelry, I'm wearing a rose gold and black diamond necklace with matching earrings. There are times where I spend hours upon hours creating new outfits, but the one thing that I like for them to all have in common is that each one looks effortless. The ensemble I'm wearing here I think really captures that. It's sweet, simple, causal, and sexy. I am a sucker when it comes to anything that has lace or velvet so the moment I saw this top, I knew it was meant for me. For bottoms, I went with a pair of classic skinny jeans because I felt like they worked better for the way this loose fitting top rests on my body. Now normally for shoes, I would have grabbed some boots or stilettos, but instead I opted for a pair of thick heeled Mary-Jane's. The short heel makes it more comfortable to walk around in so that your feet aren't killing you by the end of the day. When it comes to bags, I usually go for something a little big so that it can hold all of my daily essentials, but this one definitely caught my eye. My favorite detail is the cute little pompom charm. Big thanks to Sarrahh Alkutb for doing my makeup.

Talk about a form fitting outfit. While it is simple, it is also quite sexy. I love the way the top hugs my body, showing off my figure. The vibrant red certainly adds an exciting pop of color. But I have to say my favorite piece from this look are my jeans. I fell in love with them the moment I saw them. It has all of my favorite things: the color black and they're covered in moons and stars. For shoes, I'm wearing a pair of suede ankle boots that I bought a few years ago, and that I'm sure you've seen me wear before on my blog. For jewelry, I'm wear a classic choker and my every day silver rings. Another shout out to Sarrahh for doing such an amazing job on my makeup.

As I'm sure most of you have figured out by now from my blog over the years, I'm all about looking cute while also staying comfortable. It's a rare occasion for me to have the opportunity to get dressed up, so looking good while staying casual has become a part of my daily attire. The outfit I'm wearing is another representation of my personal style. Basic tees are a must-have staple in my closet and dresser. My shirt has a simple scoop neck and is made of cotton, which is great for the heat since it's a material that breathes. For pants, I went with a pair of light blue acid wash skinny jeans, that I'm sure you've seen before in my previous posts. Normally when it's this hot out, you would think sneakers or sandals would be a great choice for shoes, but not me. I practically live in boots. Now the ones I'm wearing were a lot taller than I anticipated when I bought them, but they're amazing. They're comfortable and very light so they don't weigh down my feet. For jewelry, I'm wearing a suede cord choker with a rose gold plated sun pendant and my every day silver rings. To finish it off, I chose a leather cross body purse. This LA Summer has been pretty pretty crazy so I've had to start getting a little more creative with my outfits so I can still show off my personal style in the heat. This look is all about texture, texture, texture and I love it. I enjoy experimenting with different materials and putting them all together to make something unique. The combination of sexy velvet and casual acid wash denim really help make this look stand out. For shoes, I went with a pair of black suede ankle boots. For accessories, I'm wearing my wide brim leather hat, that I'm sure most of you have seen before. For the finishing touches, I'm wearing a black velvet choker and my everyday silver rings. Once again, I need to give a shout out to my friend Sarrahh Alkutb for doing my makeup.
