Crushed Velvet and Frilly Lace

Top: Nasty Gal
Skirt: Betsey Johnson
Jacket: Nordstrom Rack
Shoes: Wild Diva Lounge
Jewelry: Vintage

We are now only days away from the new year and I honestly can't wait. I'm also very excited to see what kind of NYE parties are going to be going on. For those of you that are scrambling to find a great outfit to wear on that night, maybe my outfit can give you some inspiration. For my top, I'm wearing an olive green bodysuit that you can either dress up or dress down. I decided to pair the bodysuit with a vintage tiered lace skirt. I've owned this skirt for years and nearly forgot all about it until I found it buried in my closet. To keep warm, I threw on this gorgeous black velvet blazer. For shoes, I'm wearing a pair of simple black heeled booties. To finish the look, I'm wearing some beautiful vintage silver jewelry (the rings actually used to belong to my mom, but she was kind enough to let me have them). I hope everyone has a fun holiday and stay safe.

Tears On Tape

Shirt: HIM (N/A)
Jeans: Target
Hat: Hot Topic

Band merch has to be some of my favorite clothing in the world. Though I don't really represent it all that much on here, I honestly can't go one day without wearing a band shirt (I practically live in them lol). This particular shirt I'm wearing is very special to me. One of my favorite bands in the world was/is HIM. I've been a fan of theirs for about 15 years and this shirt was a limited edition release for their farewell tour that they had in 2017. I decided to pair the shirt with a simple pair of blue dark wash skinny jeans that I found on sale while exploring around the store one day. They definitely hug you in all the right places while also being extremely comfortable. For shoes, I'm wearing a go-to pair of black combat boots. And for accessories, I'm wearing a cute faux leather biker hat and a tattoo choker.

Bleach and Acid

Shirt: Custom
Jeans: H&M
Beanie: Vintage
Boots: Vintage
Jewelry: Vintage

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been very busy and now that things have simmered down, I'm able to get back to making weekly posts. I'm glad to share that my first outfit in over a month is a bit of a DIY project (well at least the shirt is lol). It's merch from one of my favorite bands called Chasing Desolation. I cut it myself and I love that it's loose rather than form fitting. A little bit of bleach was then tossed on to create a cool tie dye look. For bottoms, I'm wearing a pair of medium gray acid wash high waist jeans that compliment the top well and are extremely comfortable. I practically live in them. For shoes, I'm wearing some basic black faux leather boots. I accessorized the outfit with a simple knit beanie and a rose gold moon choker.

Leather and Basics

Shirt: H&M
Jeans: Vintage
Shoes: Vintage
Jacket: H&M
Jewelry: Vintage

Keeping it simple with this street style look. My outfit consists of a cute burgundy tee that reminds me of Fall leaves and a basic pair of black skinny jeans. To amp it up a little, I threw on a pair of high heel booties and a black faux leather jacket. To top it all off, I'm wearing a velvet choker and my every day silver rings. Big thank you to Sarrahh for doing an amazing job on my makeup.

Vintage Based

Shirt: Vintage
Jeans: Vintage
Jacket: Vintage
Shoes: Vintage
Jewelry: Vintage

It's now officially Fall and I'm very happy that I can break out all my cute jackets again. Normally on my posts I would have a link to some of the items I'm wearing, but this time around everything you see isn't new. It all came straight from the back of my closet. The top I'm wearing is something that I found awhile back while shopping at Target and the lovely forest green color really attracted me to it and I also love the deep V-neck line. Of course I had to match the top with a pair of skinny jeans (since I can't live without them lol). But I have to say my favorite part of this look is my jacket. I managed to find this lovely item while roaming the aisles at my local GoodWill and I'm obsessed with it. It's made from a very soft material and will go with just about everything. For shoes, I went with a classic pair of heeled booties. For accessories, I threw on some simple necklaces and my everyday silver rings. Want to give another thank you to Sarrahh for doing an incredible job on my makeup.
