Crop Tops & Corset Jeans

Top: Nasty Gal (Sold Out)
Jeans: TRIPP NYC (Sold Out)
Lita's: Jeffrey Campbell (Sold Out)
Onyx Choker: Empty Casket

The summer in LA has been pretty brutal and it's been rather difficult to find clothes that fit my personal taste, but are still fashion forward. So rather than spend a ton of money on new clothes, I decided to dig through the back of my closet and put together this adorable outfit. I've owned this beautiful bright blue crop top for a few years and it's become one of my favorites to wear because it's very comfortable and goes well with everything. To add some edge to the look, I paired the top with some laced up side skinny jeans from one of my favorite clothing lines. They are very sleek and sexy with the corseted sides and are made from a soft material that offers some comfort. I then added a pair of bright and colorful Lita's into the mix. They're actually the very first pair of JC's I ever bought and the pattern is a beautiful swirl of purples, blues, pinks, and many more colors. They're perfect to wear casually or dressed up. To finish the outfit, I accessorized with some chokers and vintage rings and topped it off with my favorite liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverly Hills in the color "Ashton".

Simple Times

Blouse: Nordstrom Rack (Similar)
Jeans: Hot Topic (Sold Out)
Boots: Lexy Couture
Necklace: Empty Casket (Sold Out)

I've always said that simple can make a statement and this outfit does just that. I'm wearing a beautiful black chiffon button-up top that you can either dress up with a skirt and a pair of heels or dress it down with a pair of jeans (like I'm wearing in the photos) or leggings and a pair of boots. The dark grey skinny jeans break up the black, adding a small dash of color, and are one of my go-to pair that I wear on the daily. They're high-waist and are very comfortable. One of my favorite parts of this look is the suede and silver bolo necklace. The pendant is adjustable and goes with just about everything. To finish the look, I'm wearing my favorite liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverly Hills in the color "Ashton".

Burgundy and Black

Top: Brandy Melville
Skirt: Nasty Gal
Onyx Choker: Empty Casket
Booties: Jeffrey Campbell
Purse: Forever 21

A stunning, yet simple look for a night out. I love making my outfits look effortless, because that alone can make a statement. I'm wearing a beautiful burgundy soft knit top which adds a small dash of color among all the black. The skirt is made of a stretchy material with some faux leather panels and also gives a nice contrast. I'm also wearing my simple Lita boots from JC and finished the outfit with my favorite faux leather bag.

Don't Break My Heart

Tee: Target
Bralette: Charlotte Russe (Sold Out)
Jacket: ZARA
Leggings: Black Craft Cult
Boots: Lexy Couture
Sunglasses: eBay

Looking sleek and chic in this all black outfit. This color is one of my favorites because I always feel so confident when I wear it, almost like I feel powerful and untouchable. I usually try to keep my outfits as simple as possible with only a few statement pieces. One of those pieces is the gorgeous strappy bralette that I've worn in quite a few of my photos. It's very comfortable and looks amazing with low neck tops/dresses. The next piece is the "Moon Child" leggings I bought a couple of years ago from one of my favorite stores. They're super cute and I wear them practically all the time. And then the other piece is my heart-shaped sunglasses. I bought these beauties online and I never leave the house without them. I finished the look with my cropped faux leather jacket, faux leather boots, and some silver rings.

Peace and Paisley

Tee: Nordstrom Rack (Similar)
Flared Bottoms: Lip Service (Sold Out)
Onyx Choker: Empty Casket
Boots: Madden Girl (Journeys)

Talk about a fashionable and affordable outfit. It's comfy, cute, and perfect for this never ending summer weather. My favorite item from this look has to be the paisley flared bottoms. I've been buying from Lip Service since I was a teen and their brand never goes out of style. I've had my eye on these bottoms for awhile and I was heartbroken when they were no longer available on the site. But luck must have been on my side because I was having a Girl's Day Out with one of my good friends a few months ago and we stopped at Wasteland (one of my favorite vintage/used clothing stores) and decided to browse. While looking through some pants/leggings, I saw a familiar looking pattern and lo and behold, it was the bottoms I wanted and they were  in my size! I immediately bought them and I'm so happy I went for it. This is why I encourage everyone to go thrift shopping, because you never know what you may find. I decided to wear a simple black shirt since the bottoms already stand out and then I finished the look with some simple jewelry and a cute pair of black boots.
